To be honest, before I came to college, I was in a similar mindset to that of the beginning of your video, looked down on the Greek system, and generally disapproved of it because I hadn't actually seen it in action.
Being at MSU and seeing some of my friends rush and become members of AOII and Chi Omega, it's seriously changed my view so much. You guys really do create a wonderful family, especially for freshman or even sophomores who feel lost and don't really have a place where they feel like they belong.
Now, throughout my last year as an RA and this year seeing lots of my friends from back home going to school, I've encouraged them to go greek because it's such an amazing community for them. It's seriously turned around the college experiences of so many of my friends that I can't praise it enough.
